Carnival of the Bassoons

carnivalofthebassons

Dezső Oláh’s CD, containing his own compositions, has been released. On this CD the solo piano improvisations alternate with works written for bassoon trio, reflecting on each other’s musical material. The video below is a short teaser of the album. Performed by: Dezső Oláh – piano Budapest Bassoon Trio

Bartók: Romanian Folk Dances

We recorded two excellent musicians playing the flute-guitar transcription of Béla Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances. Performers: János Bálint – flute, András Csáki – guitar. It is interesting to note that János Bálint plays a modern wooden flute.

Bach: Suite in E minor BWV 996

András Csáki playing Bach

We recently recorded the guitar transcription of J. S. Bach’s E-minor lute suite. Performer: András Csáki – Liszt Ferenc prize-winning guitarist

Dávid Pavlovits: Abrakadabra

Pavlovits-Abrakadabra

The audio and video recordings of guitarist Dávid Pavlovits’ sheet music have been completed. Its title is Abrakadabra and it contains his own compositions, short character pieces written especially for children. All the pieces can be viewed on Dávid Pavlovits’ YouTube channel. There is also a very nice improvisation among them.

Liszt: Pater noster

I worked with the cello section of the Danubia Orchestra Óbuda. Barnabás Dukay himself conducted the artists. It was a particularly exciting project. 12/03/2021

Happy Christmas Mix on Viola

Dance Monkey Dulcimer Cover

I worked with Erzsébet Gódor again. We have released a cover, the hit of Tones and I, the Dance Monkey. Just like for the Piazzolla piece, Erzsi plays all the parts here as well. 19/07/2020
